Onboard Vessel Supervisors

1) Work Experience in surveys of Storage units, Vessel/Barges/Tankers, Machineries, ODC Consignments, etc.), Discharge, Delivery Supervision ( Bulk – Liquid, Petroleum, Gasoline, Chemicals, Dry Bulk, Break Bulk, Ullaging, On-hire &/or Off-hire, HOTO for all type of vessel, Draught Survey, etc.), Pre – Dispatch Surveys (ODC Consignment, Machineries, Break Bulk, Dry Bulk, Liquid Bulk, etc.)
2) Coordination with vessel’s agents.
3) Gauge, Ullage, draught of the vessel’s cargo, oil/LPG/chemical Tanker, General Cargo, ODC.
4) Calculation, quantity of cargo on board of vessel as per vessel 54 & 56 table. Vessel securing and Lashing.
5) Draw samples before discharge / after loading
6) Supervise the entire discharge / loading and maintain a time sheet of the same
7) Inspect cargo tanks for emptiness after discharge
8) Inspect shore tanks prior receipt
9) Gauge the tanks before and after completion of receipt to determine the quantity of cargo received / dispatched.
10) Inspect barges, & its nominated tanks for cleanliness to receive the cargo.
11) Supervision of the tanker Lorries before & after cargo for tare and gross weights and seal tanker with monogrammed numbered plastic seal to ascertain quantity through the nominated weighbridge.
12) To determine of Bunkers on board of the vessel.
13) To investigation arising out of a quantity loss or contamination occurring for a shipped cargo.
14) Upon completion of supervision on board vessels to prepare all vessel reports before discharging operation.
15) To Inspection of Holds and Hatches of the vessel before loading of nominated break/bulk /general cargo to ensure cleanliness and suitability of the same.
16) Inspection of containers & its containerized cargo.
17) To conduct inspection, assess condition of Hull, check deck and superstructure, status on board for Deck/Engine/Radio room/galley/Machinery and Equipments etc. for operation status.
